Today, I took the time to switch over to parallels from an old version of VMware…
The result is great!! Windows 7 runs beautifully on a Mac with Parallels and integrates all the necessary files and folders seamlessly. Even my magic mouse is fully functional.
Currently installing Office 2007 and tweaking a few other features in Windows 7 in order to make it my own!
next step, never using a PC again!

I have recently fell in love of having my own server as well as hosting my own sites, blogs, and wikis… Although I know that their are many solutions out there, being the Mac enthusiast that I am, I have been considering the new Mac mini that is preloaded with Mac OS X server.
Although I have never used or experianced OS X Server, my research and readings have been pushing me towards it. Research has also been pointing out that the mac mini and server combo are of great value for home or small business users! Fitting perfectly in the description of people who would find that combination ideal for their use.
In addition, having a desktop computer that serves both my everyday computer needs as well as my server needs for a very reasonable price is attracting.
It is important to note as well that the mac mini on it’s own is a great purchase for home users who want a powerful and compact computer that could be connected to two screens. Think of it, two 21″ screens set up having one horizontal screen and the other verticle, a magic mouse, and wireless keyboard; all running on a mac mini server…. Productive, elegant, and saves on hosting fees for this blog!!
The more I talk about it and write about it, the more tempted I am at ordering the kit from the apple store!!
First things first though, I am getting ready to test out Mac OS X Server on my MacBook this Christmas break, I would have done it earlier, but school comes first.
Check this blog soon for the updates.
